Made of rugged cast Iron with an attractive rust resistant powder coat finish. Protective rubber feet keep the base from resting directly on the patio. Includes two stem heights 12 and 7 for flexible use with different table frame heights. Overall dimensions 18 Diameter by 2 high without stem 14 High w 12 stem or 9 High with 7 stem. The combination of serious weight and sensible width results in exceptional effectiveness in keeping an umbrella from tipping over in winds. Rubber feet are a bonus, and they re well attached. The relief design looks great, too, and the matte-finish paint isn t easily scratched. The final little touch are plastic sleeves to help keep rain from entering the mounting tube. We have several umbrellas, and so far this appears to be the best base that s on the market today.
