Onyx Studio 2 vs. Bose Soundlink IIII m a musician and consider myself to be a very picky audiophile. I may not know the difference between watts and ohms well I kinda do but I know what I like when it comes to sound. I stumbled upon this speaker at Best Buy while looking at the Bose Soundlink III. I m really a big Bose fan so when the Best Buy employee pointed to this speaker and said it blows Bose out of the water I was extremely skeptical. Then I got to demo this speaker and was blown away but still not totally convinced that it was better than the Bose - especially since I was standing in a big noisy store with music playing from other devices all around me. That night I ended up not buying it because I wanted to think about it - basically I was still set on getting the Bose. Long story short, I ended up purchasing the Onyx Studio 2 from Amazon and liked it a lot. Then I had the chance to try out the Bose Soundlink III in my home and compare the two side by side and here is what I found
