DO NOT BUY Poor quality and worthless warranty.In July of 2018, I purchased a Punkcase Silencer. Once a week, I used it with a Jam band to play backing tracks. That was it s usage cycle. Once a week for jamming and then put away for charging. It s not like this unit got a lot of usage. ANNOYING FEATURE NOTE The speaker has this annoying habit of turning off after a brief period of idleness, the duration of which you cannot control. I had to keep turning it back on over and over again during every jam . Last week Feb, 2019 , as I was putting it away to charge, the built-in USB port pushed in and became unusable. I can no longer charge, therefore use, the speaker. I contacted Punkcase about this fully expecting them to replace or repair the unit since it was only seven months old. Instead, I was told that their lifetime warranty didn t cover this as this was considered normal wear and tear. That s right, a built-in USB port breaking is considered normal wear and tear rather than a manufacturing defect. So I guess this means that all you can expect from one of these speakers, even with light use, is 7 months before wear and tear make it useless. Really Yup, the manufacturing quality of this speaker is that poor. Just as a comparison, I have another Bluetooth speaker from a different manufacturer, and after four years of use it is still going strong. There is no excuse for a Bluetooth speaker, with no moving parts, to die after 7 months of light use. Oh, and the guarantee You know, the one they publish on the Amazon product page for the Silencer
